All areas of medicine have had to become more familiar with PPE use during the current pandemic. But our colleagues in the paramedic world must be prepared to get called to all kinds of hazardous situations and be skilled in a wide range of PPE equipment.
Today we chat with Intensive Care Paramedic Aaron Turner, who talks us through how the paramedic world in NZ are managing PPE at the moment, as well as telling us about some of the other gear they use in hazardous situations.
